Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?Ī: Know what you want and do some research if you have doubts about what kind of sound your are shooting for. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?Ī: What is your budget? What is the goal sound your are looking for? Is it a self funded project or record label type deal with a release plan. Q: Can you share one music production tip?Ī: Never lose the original concept and feel of the song by overdoing, overproducing, over arranging, and even over mixing. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?Ī: Quincy Jones, one of my favourite music producers.Also Jerry Hey, my fav. I have performed with Symphonies like, The Detroit, Hawaii, Buffalo, Dayton, Edmonton, Pacific Orchestras. I was in the Canadian National Youth symphony at the age of 11 and was working in bars at the age of 14 with funk and disco bands. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?Ī: I started playing the trumpet at the age of 8 and was considered a child prodigy, this makes laugh actually. I love the analog sound, but, pretty much a thing of the past. A: Both, but these days digital provides so much more ease and speed of working. ![]()
